3 Mobile

My 3Mobile phone is a piece of crap.  Actually, the phone is fine as far as I’m aware but the service is pitiful. I genuinely can’t hold a proper conversation 95% of the time without it breaking up and being cut off.  It’s okay if I’m outdoors but as soon as I go inside anywhere that’s it.  I’ve called 3 Mobile about it several times and they basically won’t do anything but promise to check it out.  I had an oline conversation with a nice chap called Kavi, who promised to check again.  Groan…. here’s the vaguely amusing end of the conversation:

Advisor Kavi: Ok, I will have this investigated however if you still wish to cancel, you can just speak with our customer service team on 333 from your handset & give them the cancellation notice in April.

me: Sure you will. Thanks

Advisor Kavi: You’re most welcome. Please be assured about it.

Advisor Kavi: Have I answered all your questions?

me: I’m very assured. You have assured me most thoroughly.

Advisor Kavi: Thank you.

me: Will you tell me the results of your investigation?

Advisor Kavi: Sure, as soon as I get a revert on this.

me: A revert?

Advisor Kavi: Yes, I will have to raise the issue to the technical team which can check further about the reception in your area as I cannot do it myself since I ma from the billing online support team.

Advisor Kavi: If you wish to do it, you can also speak with them regarding the same, as you just need to speak with our customer service team & they will have your call connected to the technical team who can investigate it for you.

me: I understand now. I just wasn’t familiar with the use of “revert” as a noun. How will you contact me to let me know the results of the “revert”?

Advisor Kavi: Sure, we have your mobile number to contact.

me: Marvellous, I look forward to that.

Advisor Kavi: Sure, you can.

me: Great.

Advisor Kavi: Have I answered all your questions?

me: Every last one.

Advisor Kavi: Thank you.

Advisor Kavi: I sincerely appreciate that.

me: No, thank you.

Advisor Kavi: Thanks for using Web Chat – have a great day.

me: you have a great day

Advisor Kavi: You too, good bye.

me: thanks for taking the time, bye bye

Advisor Kavi: It is a pleasure. Good bye.

me: The pleasure is all mine. Au revoir

Advisor Kavi: One moment please…

Advisor Kavi has exited the session.

You are the only user left in the session.

At this stage I was really disappointed – it was the first time 3 Mobile had ever given me anything that had made me smile.

UPDATE: 17th June 2009 – still no “revert”.
