• Guy writes Linux drivers for 235 webcams

Here’s a great (if slightly old) story about a guy who has single handedly written 235 drivers for cheap, Chinese webcams that previously only worked on PCs.  I know that finding drivers for Linux can be a pain and is one reason many Linux users continue to dual boot.  Strangely, although he’s done this completely off his own back and for free, he’s not made made much effort to promote his work and the drivers are still pretty hard to find.  I’m sure someone will seize the opportunity to help him there though.
